Shipping policy
Coffee Machines
Order Confirmation: As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your
card however your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier to
confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment.
Once confirmed we will process the payment and your order will be dispatched
straight away. If there is any delay such as an item which is on backorder, we will
void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.
Order Delivery: Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and
available for dispatch, we will charge your card and your order will be dispatched
within 5 working days. We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of
your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 6
working days, please reach out to us via email at enquiries@vintiere.co.uk so
that we can help.
Damages: We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We
advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an
item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items
to enquiries@vintiere.co.uk so that we can open an insurance claim on your
behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds: Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order
may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the
buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any
refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place
the order.
Wine Coolers
Specialized Courier Delivery
Because our premium wine coolers and refrigeration units contain sensitive internal cooling compressors, they cannot be shipped via standard parcel networks. All mid-to-large appliances are securely strapped to transit pallets and delivered via specialized heavy freight transport networks to ensure safe transit.
Delivery Times & Tracking
- Processing: Orders are typically processed and dispatched from our trade distribution facility within 1–3 business days.
- Transit: Standard pallet delivery across the UK mainland takes approximately 3–5 working days from dispatch.
- Scheduling: The freight courier will call or text you on the contact number provided during checkout to schedule a convenient delivery window. Please ensure someone is present at the address to sign for the delivery.
Kerbside Delivery Limitations
Please note that standard pallet delivery is kerbside only.
- The driver will lower the pallet to the nearest safe, flat ground outside your property using a tail lift.
- Drivers are not insured to unbox the appliance, navigate stairs, or bring the unit inside your home or kitchen.
- Please ensure you have assistance available to move the appliance safely inside your property on delivery day.
Important: The 24-Hour Settling Rule
Once your wine cooler has been moved to its final flat position inside your home, do not plug the unit into the mains power for at least 24 hours. Moving refrigeration units tilts the internal compressor oils; turning the unit on too quickly can cause permanent mechanical damage and void your manufacturer's warranty.
Returns, Damage, & Warranty Policy
24-Hour Transit Damage Inspection Window
You must inspect your appliance thoroughly immediately upon delivery.
- Look for any external cosmetic dents, scratches, or cracks in the glass doors.
- Any transit damage must be reported to our support team at [Your Support Email] within 24 hours of delivery.
- Please include your order number and clear digital photographs of both the product damage and the external packaging.
- Reports of transit damage made after this strict 24-hour window cannot be accepted, as we are bound by the terms of our freight insurance carriers.
14-Day "Change of Mind" Returns
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receipt. However, because these are specialist heavy appliances, the following strict criteria apply:
- Condition: The unit must be completely unused, uninstalled, and packed securely inside its original transit packaging (including the structural pallet base).
- Restocking & Collection Fees: If you return an item because you changed your mind, you will be responsible for the direct cost of palletized courier collection and a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your final refund.
Faults & Warranty Support
All of our wine refrigeration products come with a comprehensive [Insert Year, e.g., 2-Year] UK Manufacturer’s Warranty.
- If your appliance develops a technical fault (such as a thermostat error or cooling issue) after successful installation, please contact us immediately.
- We will register the issue directly with the brand's UK technical trade desk, who will arrange for a certified field service engineer to visit your home to repair or replace the components on-site under your warranty.
